Teamworks
TEAMWORKS is an afterschool enrichment program open to all 3rd-5th grade students in SRVUSD Elementary Schools. This program pairs high school mentors with teams of elementary students interested in STEAM fields. Under the guidance of a credentialed teacher at Dougherty Valley High School and a Destination Imagination Regional Committee Member, mentors will help develop teamwork skills in STEAM related areas as they lead students through 20 Instant Challenges and/or team building activities spanned across six class dates. Each class features themed mini-lessons and a variety of learning opportunities.
