Summer Imagineering 2023: 3D Modeling and Printing (Game Crafting with 3D printing!)
Program Details:
- Class Time: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. with a break for snack
- Class Dates: Monday (6/26/2023) through Friday (6/30/2023)
- Location: Pine Valley Middle School
- Grades: Incoming 3rd – 5th grade students

Description:
In this introduction to 3D printing modeling, students will learn the basics of the TinkerCAD (Computer Aided Design) program. Students will design their own physical game, making their own dice, tokens, and accessories in TinkerCAD, printing them to bring them to reality! Designing in a three-dimensional world, students will learn about measuring, grouping, and checking for errors before using a splicer program to print. They will learn about different types of printers, understanding the technical parts of a printer and how to troubleshoot prints. Students will finish this class with a solid understanding of how to use 3D modeling and printing for students to bring their own ideas to life!

REFUND, CANCELATION and WAITLIST POLICIES: Refunds will be allowed up until 2 weeks before the first day of class and will incur a $25 processing fee. After this time, no refunds will be granted. If a class is canceled by SRVEF Imagineering, you will be given the option to transfer registration to a similar class or receive a full refund. The waitlist will be handled in order until one week before the event. At that time, if a spot becomes available, the entire wait list will be notified at the same time and the first to respond will be offered the spot.
