Robo Racers: Unleash Your Inner Engineer with Python and Pi for 6th-12th

Robo Racers is your chance to dive into the world of robotics and programming. The Raspberry Pi is a versatile resource for physical computing and digital making for students of all ages. This class will introduce you to the Raspberry Pi through hands-on work building and programming a robotic car that is capable of autonomous movement, remote control, and object detection. The class is intended for students who have previously completed the Intro to Raspberry Pi class or have experience programming with Python.

Program Details:

• Class Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a break for snack
• Class Dates: Monday (7/15/2024) through Friday (7/19/2024)
• Location: Gale Ranch Middle School
• Grades: Incoming middle and high school students
