
From Tinker to Techie: Hands-on Coding Creations with Raspberry Pi & Python (Intro) 6th to 9th grade
This hands-on coding workshop is perfect for beginners who want to dive into the world of Raspberry Pi and Python programming. Discover how to bring your creative ideas to life by learning the basics of coding and exploring the endless possibilities of Raspberry Pi. Students will learn about the physical hardware of a Raspberry Pi, how it operates, and how to use Python to program input/output components, sensors, and the Pi-camera. Students will see just how powerful this micro-computer is and get some coding experience by controlling these accessories with Python. This will be a great introduction to both physical computing and programming. Whether you’re a tinkerer or aspiring techie, this event is the perfect opportunity to get hands-on experience and unleash your inner coding genius. - Class Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a break for snack
