Geometry, Algebra, and Trigonometry play an important role in architectural designs. Engineers use math to come up with the initial sketch. From ancient times, architects use geometry to design the shapes of buildings. We will see videos and talk about those famous structures. In this course, we will discuss the Golden Ratio that was defined by Greek Mathematician Euclid. We will learn why it is crucial to get the correct proportion/ratio of height, length, and width of any structure. In this course, we will talk about the Pythagorean theorem that plays an important role in calculations of the size and shape of a building.
